Dr. Katherine Manning was born and raised in Deland, FL and attended Florida Southern College in Lakeland, FL where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in biology. She then moved to Knoxville, Tennessee to attend the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in May of 2018 with her DVM. She then moved back home and married her high school sweetheart, Anthony.

When Dr. Manning is not taking care of your pets, she loves to spend time with her two dogs and two cats: Mollie the border collie mix, Dani the Australian Shepherd, and two black cats-Leslie Knope and Ben Wyatt (she is a big Parks and Rec fan). She spends the rest of her free time with her family and friends, enjoying the sunshine at the beach or by the pool.

Dr. Manning’s favorite parts of being a veterinarian include client education, preventative care, internal medicine, and dermatology. Her goal is to help every owner become a vital part in the care of their pet. She is passionate about helping her clients understand how to best care for their cats or dogs and loves that she can also care for the humans on the other side of the leash as well. She feels lucky to get to do what she loves every day.
